Experts are warning that 2017 will a big year for ticks in the Northeast due to the unusually warm winter.  More ticks can mean higher rates of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne diseases for people who work or enjoy spending time outside.   Despite the increased risk of exposure, there are steps you can take to reduce the risk to your employees and family members this summer.  The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety has published this article for employers and outdoor workers that includes recommendations for avoiding ticks and other insects.
